Alex Visconti is leading the Villa Lario kitchen. At just 28 years old, Alex is a young, talented chef from Lake Como. His culinary aptitude began to grow from a young age, learning from some of the talented and reputable Italian chefs. He studied at ALMA, the International Cooking School of Gualtiero Marchesi; the founder of modern Italian cuisine. Following this, Alex worked in the kitchen at Michelin Star restaurant La Fermata of Andrea Ribaldone and Riccardo Aiachini.
Alex will assist in creating seasonal menus focused around key Italian ingredients. In working with these specific ingredients, Alex will intertwine traditional Italian cooking methods rooted in the region’s culinary history with modernity and innovation, to create the very best seasonal dishes.
